Vehicle Crime - Addison St

Hi Resident

You are receiving this message to make you aware of car door handles tried whilst a vehicle was parked up on Addison Street by two males.  They were seen running away accross Burnley Road on Windsor St then onto Lodge street, heading towards town. 

This incident occurred on Tuesday 14th April at 01:45 - 01:47 hours. Officers have been in the area conducting cctv enquiries. If you feel you have any cctv that could assist then please respond to this message in the first instance. 

There has been a rise in such reports & we ask you remain vigilant & report any suspicious activity on 101 or 999 if you witness a crime in progress. 

We would also ask that you ensure your vehicles are locked and secured, with no valuables in view.
