Attempt burglary and garage break

Good evening,

We have received reports of 2 incidents in your area.

The first incident was an attempt burglary on Lowerhouse Lane, close to the junction of Printers Fold. CCTV shows 2 young males in dark clothing trying a front door handle at 1am this morning. After being unsuccessful, they walked off towards Printers Fold.

We have also received a report from a resident on Printers Fold, who has returned home to find their garage door damaged, and 2 bikes stolen from within. CCTV enquiries shows this occurred at around 2.30am this morning. The description of the suspects is similar to the suspects previously mentioned, however it can not be confirmed that these are the same. 

There are no known vehicles involved in these incidents.

If you have any CCTV in the area, particularly along the primary route through Printers Fold, we ask that you look through your footage between 00:55 and 03:00. If you believe your footage may have captured these suspects, please reply to this email. 

It is likely that the suspects travelled in to Printers Fold on foot, and left on the stolen bikes.

Please take this alert as a reminder to ensure all doors and windows are locked to prevent becoming a victim of opportunists. If you have CCTV/doorbell cameras, please ensure that your systems are in working order and charged.
