Warm Weather Safety Reminder

As warm weather continues across Lancashire this weekend, many people will be spending time outdoors enjoying the sunshine.

We are reminding residents and visitors to take a few simple steps to stay safe and help protect Lancashire:
 

• Open water can be colder and more unpredictable than it looks. Please avoid swimming in lakes, reservoirs and rivers.
 

• Dry conditions increase the risk of wildfires. Leave BBQs and campfires at home and pack a picnic instead.

 

Our crews are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week, but we all have a role to play in keeping ourselves, others and Lancashire safe.
