Catching Ducklings

Good Afternoon,

You may have seen two officers from you Neighbourhood Policing Team on the busy A581 Southport Rd near to the Leyland garden centre,  with a fishing net and cardboard boxes.

We were alerted by two members of the public that a duck had been hit by a car, sadly the duck didn't make it but had left several ducklings behind.

After a couple of hrs chasing the ducklings  along the grassed verge and through a very large garden , we manged to to catch 3 .
