We have received a report of a recent burglary in the area. The suspect gained entry through an unsecured open window.

Please ensure that all doors and windows are kept locked whenever possible. We understand that, particularly in warmer weather, it may not always be practical to keep everything closed. In these cases, we recommend considering additional security measures such as window restrictors, window locks, or door safety devices that allow ventilation while maintaining security.

If you discover that your car or property has been broken into and the incident is currently happening, please call 999 immediately. If the incident has already occurred and is no longer ongoing, please report it to the police by calling 101.

Staying vigilant and taking these small precautions can greatly reduce the risk of becoming a victim of burglary.
