Yesterday, your local Neighbourhood Policing Team seized 32 illegal e-bikes and e-scooters from our streets.

We understand that opinions on the use of e-bikes and e-scooters can be mixed. However, many of the vehicles we encounter are being used illegally, and we receive a significant number of reports relating to anti-social behaviour, dangerous riding, and concerns from members of the public.

Our officers will continue to carry out enforcement activity and seize vehicles that are being used unlawfully.

Before purchasing or using an e-bike or e-scooter, please take the time to research the current legislation and ensure that you are complying with the law.
