Vehicle crime - Red Lees Road

Good evening,

On Friday morning, we received a report of a theft from a vehicle.

The vehicle was parked on the drive, at an address on Red Lees Road, close to the junction of Sunnyfield Ave.

Stolen from the vehicle was camping equipment worth approx £2500.

Some of the stolen items have been located on Red Lees Road, at the junction of Dawson Drive. Items were also located at Rowley Lane car park. 

From a report made to us by a concerned resident, and CCTV enquiries, we have been able to ascertain that the offence occurred at 00:47 on Friday.

The 2 suspects arrived via motorbike, from the direction of Holme Chapel, and likely left towards Rowley, where the items were dumped. A silver people carrier type vehicle was seen in the area which may also be involved, however this has not been confirmed.
