Alert - 3 Males Trying Car Doors In The Village

Good morning.

There has been reports of three young males, wearing balaclavas trying car doors in Bolton-Le-Sands overnight (Friday 31/07/2026 - Saturday 01/08/2026). They have been seen on Main Road between 00:00 and 01:00 hours on Saturday morning. Police attended at the time but the males were not found. They may have made off on foot or got into a vehicle and left the area.

Could I please ask any residents if they have witnessed these males, or have any footage of these males to please respond directly to this message.

Remember to keep your vehicles locked and secure. Utilise motion sensor cameras, lights and alarms to put thieves off and report any suspicious activity to the police on 999 at the time - might just prevent you or your neighbour being a victim of crime.
