Alert - Reports Of Burglaries And Thefts In Silverdale And Yealand

Good afternoon

Please be aware there has been a number of reports overnight Sunday into Monday in the Silverdale and Yealand area of cars, garages and other outbuildings being broken into and items stolen, including a car which was stolen from Silverdale and later recovered in Lancaster this morning.

Whilst enquiries are ongoing for these crimes, please can be people be alert to any suspicious activity, especially over night of people or vehicles which seem out of place and report these to police on 999.
