Attempted break-in on Dalton Street

Good afternoon,

We would like to make residents aware of an attempted break-in that occurred on Dalton Street Street on Saturday 22 August at approximately 22:43 hours.

An offender attempted to gain entry to a property by using a screwdriver to try and force open a window. Fortunately, access was not gained as the offender was disturbed and left the scene.

We are asking residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, persons, or vehicles in the area. Please ensure windows and doors are secure and consider leaving external lighting on during the evening where possible.
