Anti-social behaviour

Rossendale NPT were called to Rawtenstall Town Centre over the weekend following reports of anti-social behaviour involving a group of youths.

Officers attended and engaged with those involved, with seven youths dispersed from the area and taken home to their parents to prevent further disruption and provide reassurance to members of the public.

We will continue to patrol the town centre and work closely with local partners to tackle anti-social behaviour and help ensure the area remains a safe and welcoming place for residents, businesses and visitors.

Parents need to be aware of where their children are and what they are up too.
