Bogus Callers - Westbourne Road

Good afternoon,

We have recently received a report from someone in your local area who has had a visit from someone we believe to be a bogus caller. These people were possibly pretending to be from United Utilities. Please do not automatically believe people who claim to be apart of these organisations and always request some form of ID and do not give away any of your own personal information. We will be keeping an eye on the area and confronting anyone who we believe to be partaking in such behaviour.

Thankfully in this instance. the bogus caller was frightened off due to our informants suspicions and the Police were rightfully informed. Stay vigilant and trust your gut when it comes to these situations!
