On Wednesday 2nd September officers from the local Neighbourhood policing team carried out a speeding operation on Deer Park road,

Over a 60 minute period we observed 124 vehicles and found 16 driving above the speed limit with the fastest being 31MPH in a 20MPH zone, and 2 of those driving 30MPH and above.

Details were taken of the Vehicles and owners of those vehicles will be contacted in due course. 

This will operation will be continued to be performed over the oncoming year
