🚔 Off-Road Bike Seized on Abel Street 🚔

On 02/09/2026, a male rider was spotted travelling along Abel Street on an off-road pit bike.

Unfortunately for him, whilst the bike may have been ready for the dirt track, it wasn't quite ready for the public highway...

To be used legally on the road, a motorcycle must have:

✅ DVLA registration and a number plate
✅ Valid insurance
✅ A valid driving license
✅ A valid MOT where applicable

This rider managed to achieve the impressive feat of having none of the above.

Neighborhood Policing Officers stopped the rider, and following further enquiries by a Response Officer, a Section 165 notice was issued. As a result, the bike was seized and recovered.

It's safe to say the pit bike has now swapped Abel Street for a secure compound, where it'll be spending some time reflecting on its life choices.

We will continue to take action against uninsured, unlicensed and unregistered vehicles to keep our roads safe for everyone.
