Ismail & Fatma Leli

Good afternoon, 

As you may be aware, following extensive enquiries, Lancashire Police have charged Yasin Leli, 46, with two offences of murder after sadly Ismail & Fatma Leli were found dead on Monday 7th September 2026 at a premise on HARDMAN STREET in BLACKBURN. 

Our officers have visited a number of premises on HARDMAN ST, BALDWIN ST, DICKINSON ST, STANSFIELD ST and PHONEIX TERRACE to conduct enquiries. This is a message for anyone with any further information or if you have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area last Sunday evening into Monday morning. Or if you have any CCTV or dash-cam, mobile/doorbell footage that could maybe assist with enquiries, please contact forcecontrolroom@lancashire.police.uk or call 01254 353678 quoting log 0252 of 7th September 2026. 

Please do not worry if you see a further police presence over the coming days. Your local neighbourhood policing team for this area will be conducting reassurance patrols.
