Burglary in your Area

Hello

I am just making you aware that there has been a recent attempted burglary from a house on Eagle Drive. It happened around 7.20pm on 30/08/26. A male has tried to gain entry via a side window and the back door. He was scared off by a neighbour's dog and the investigation is ongoing.  

This is just a message to ask you to be vigilant and report anything suspicious you may see.

This is a good opportunity to remind you that there are a number of ways you can keep your home/property safe.  Always keep your doors and windows locked and try not to leave any valuables on show. Having some sort of CCTV/Ring Doorbell is also a deterrent.  A lot of burglaries are opportunistic where the offender tries their luck hoping to find an insecure property. Keeping valuables out of sight and doors locked should help deter anyone thinking of committing a crime.
