Nuisance Vehicles/Abandoned/Illegally Parked

Good Afternoon

I would just like to make you aware of recent Police activity within the area of Brun Grove and Wood Park Road Blackpool.

We have had a number logs come through to us regarding numerous vehicles parked showing either no Tax, No M.O.T and no insurance.

Myself and my colleague have attended the area in the last few days and discovered 19 offending vehicles.

12 vehicles have been reported to the DVLA regarding no tax and soon PC's will have powers to seize vehicles showing SORN which will help to expedite a much quicker resolution to the parking issues on the street.

6 Vehicles have been added to our intel systems and will be acted upon by RPU (Road Policing Unit) 

1 Vehicle has been seized under S.99 of the road traffic act for being abandoned and left insecure.
