Speed Enforcement

Dear Residents,

Thank you for taking the time to report your concerns regarding speeding through the Lancashire Police website and at local PACT meetings.

On 18/09/2026, the Neighbourhood Task Force Team conducted speed enforcement on Wigan Road between The Bay Horse and the railway bridge. As a result of this activity, one vehicle was stopped for exceeding the speed limit.

Please continue to report any road safety concerns that may arise, as community feedback helps us identify and address local issues.
