Firework and ASB issues

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding ASB - General (Undefined), which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

We have recieved reports of fireworks being set off antisocially in the local area, causing concern and disturbance to local residents.

We would like to remind everyone to act responsibly when using fireworks and to be considerate of other in the community. Fireworks being set off inappropriatley, particularly late at night in public areas, young children, elderly people and those with pets or in public areas will be looked into and actions will be taken acordingly. There is also severe risk of injury, damage to property and fires.

ASB will not be tolerated and we ask everyone to help us keep our community safe and enjoyable for all.

If you witness firworks being used in an unsafe or ant-social manner, please report this via 101 or 999.

Op. Centurion is Lancashire Constabulary’s county-wide response to anti-social behaviour, supported by Police and Crime Commissioner, Clive Grunshaw.
