Burglary Prevention

Burglary Prevention

Good morning,

I am writing to raise awareness following a recent increase in burglaries within the division, where expensive gold has been a particular target.

I would like to remind residents to take extra precautions to help protect homes and valuables.

Here are a few tips:

Keep all doors and windows locked and secure, even if you are at home.

Keep any jewellery and valuables in a secure place.

Consider fitting any CCTV to ensure your home is safe if possible.

Be mindful of those you allow into your home and please report any suspicious activity.

Please remain vigilant and look out for those who may benefit from this advice.

If you witness a burglary in progress or believe a crime is taking place, call 999. To report anything suspicious or a non-emergency contact 101 or report it online via the Lancashire Constabulary website.

Thank you
