Nusiance E-Motorcycles in Carnforth

Good Evening

You may have noticed a number of individuals who seem to think it is acceptable to ride electric motorbikes around town over the last couple of weeks. These are power machines which are great fun on agreed off road areas but on our roads they are a menance and a danger, not only to the irresponsible riders who wear no protective clothing but also to the rest of the community. I would welcome any information people have about who the riders are and where they live. I would say to those riders to think about the consequences of their actions before it is too late.

In the mean time one young man had his electric motorbike siezed tonight on Market Street and decided to run off from me. I would kindly implore him to make contact with me at Morecambe Police Station to discuss the matter.
