Burglaries in Longton and Walton le Dale an update

Hello all

We just wanted to update you on an issue that we know has been causing many of you a lot of concern – the recent rise in burglaries in Longton and Walton le Dale.

We know this has had an impact on you as local communities and rest assured we have been listening to your concerns and taking action. In the recent days we have made a number of arrests and two people have been charged with 11 offences including a number of burglaries, attempted burglary and other offences and will be appearing before court.

We will continue to listen to your concerns and work hard to bring offenders to justice when we can, but we need your help. If you have any information which could assist, or if you have any concerns, then please contact us on lancashire.police.uk/reportonline or give us a call on 101.
